About Me

I’m Charles Luce: educator, artist, baker and foodie. When I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2002, I accepted this as a challenge, not a disability.

I taught myself to bake without gluten, then went on to use my chemistry knowledge - gained in a lifetime of pre-digital photography - to develop better gluten-free breads.  You can find out more about them by clicking HERE. You can check out my blog or see my participation in FacebookGling or Glutenfreeliving. If you live in the NYC area you might know me as the treasurer of the New York Mycological Society or as a participant in the Northern NJ Celiacs Support Group. I hope you'll contact me (Click either photo).
